Kiilto XPU is a fast bonding, polyurethane-enhanced elastic adhesive sealant based on silyl polymer technology. Suitable for gluing and sealing of various materials (including weld lines) in structural bondings. Typical applications include truck bodies, mobile homes, buses and trains. In building Kiilto XPU is used e.g. for fixing of insulation panels, battens, washbasins and toilet seats. Suitable also to be used in conjunction with Kiilto one-component waterproofing membranes for sealing wall penetrations and for sealing Tulppa-wet room boards and inlets. Good adhesion on various stones, concrete, most metals, wood, glass and glazed surfaces as well as epoxy and polyester surfaces. With plastic and rubber preliminary adhesive tests are recommended prior to actual use. Has M1-emission classification for building products. Excellent adhesion to different materials – in most cases no need for priming. Elastic, yet mechanically strong bond. Does not contain PVC or solvents. Almost odourless. Good resistance against chemicals (weak solutions). Excellent resistance to weathering and UV-radiation. Almost non-shrinking. Paintable with most paints (test always before use). Sandable.<\/p>\n

Los materiales utilizados deben estar libres de polvo y secos, y limpios de grasas y aceites. Los mejores resultados de pegado se logran cuando las superficies met\u00e1licas se limpian con Kiilto Cleaner 303 y despu\u00e9s de la limpieza se impriman con Kiiltoflex Metalliprimer. La masa se extiende sobre la superficie a pegar y se alisa con una llana si es necesario. Al pegar superficies grandes y uniformes o en condiciones especialmente secas, recomendamos utilizar un ligero chorro de agua (aprox. 5-10 g\/m\u00b2). Cierre el paquete con cuidado despu\u00e9s de su uso. El producto no endurecido se puede eliminar con Kiilto Cleaner 303 o acetona. Producto curado \u00fanicamente mec\u00e1nicamente. Las condiciones predominantes, como la temperatura, la temperatura del sustrato, la calidad del sustrato, as\u00ed como su humedad y cantidad de masa, influyen fuertemente en la velocidad de desollado y la vulcanizaci\u00f3n.
